Handmade enamel earrings","description":"\u003cp\u003eTo me these earrings look like a stormy sea crashing on the rocks.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eEach earring has a pine yellow base, once fired and cooled I’ve added lumps of glass in shades of green, these are then fired into the yellow base.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe lumps never fully melt so once the earrings cool down I use a diamond file to smooth the lumps and remove any sharp pieces.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe next step was to add crackle lumps to the top half of each earring and then sprinkle a layer of storm blue enamel powder, firing again until molten, the crackle lumps helping to expose the yellow from under the blue, the sand and the sea.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThese earrings are slightly domed\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eEach enamel component measures 4cm in length and 1cm wide\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe total drop of each earring from the top of the ear hook to the bottom of the earring is 5.2cm long\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e*The ear hooks are made from Argentium silver\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e*Argentium silver is hypoallergenic and low tarnish\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e*Argentium is certified 100% recycled.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e*These earrings are made from recycled copper and enamel\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e🎁 If your purchase is a gift for someone special I can send it to the recipient accompanied by a card with note inside.
